Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Malachi Wordell, Deputy Joseph Rizzo, and Deputy Robert Kerzic will join Jefferson County Sheriff Mark Pettway as special guests on the upcoming broadcast of the Alabama’s Behind the Badge Radio Show on Saturday, July 18.
 

We are honored to welcome Sergeant Wordell, Deputy Rizzo, and Deputy Kerzic as they share their expertise and firsthand experiences as members of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team.
 

The discussion will cover a variety of topics, including the Dive Team’s mission, training, specialized operations, and memorable experiences. Sheriff Pettway will also discuss his vision for strengthening and expanding partnerships among local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies throughout Jefferson County.
